Eprosartan is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension.
Without a Prescription
Eprosartan is prescribed to treat high blood pressure.
Eprosartan is prescribed to patients who are suffering from high blood pressure (hypertension).
The usual starting dose of Eprosartan is 600mg per day.
Eprosartan may be taken twice per day with total doses ranging from 400mg-800mg.
If you suspect an overdose, seek emergency medical treatment immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include:
- Sometimes even chest pain;
Side effects may include:
- Cough or congestion;
- Muscle cramps or muscle pain;
- Runny nose;
- Sore throat;
- Upset stomach;
- Emestar Mono;
Eprosartan is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to Eprosartan or any of its components.
Eprosartan is contraindicated if you are pregnant.
Eprosartan is contraindicated if you have ever had an allergic reaction to Eprosartan.
Inform your pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Triamterene (Dyazide Dyrenium Maxzide);
- Spironolactone (Aldactone);
- Amiloride (Midamor);
