Cleocin is an antibiotic prescribed to treat acne.

Side Effects

Cleocin side effects that you should report to your health care professional or doctor as soon as possible:
- Skin dryness;
- Reddened skin;
- Peeling skin;
- Itching;
- Burning;

Dosage

CHILDREN

The safety and effectiveness of Cleocin have not been established in children under 12 years of age.

ADULTS

Apply a thin film of gel, solution, or lotion to the affected area 2 times a day, or use a solution pledget (application pad).
Do not remove the pledget from its foil container until you are ready to use it.
Discard a pledget after you have prescribed it once you may use more than 1 pledget for a treatment.
If you are using the lotion, shake it well immediately before using.
