Aspirin is prescribed to reduce the risk of death and/or nonfatal myocardial infarction (MI) in patients with a previous infarction or unstable angina, to reduce the risk of transient ischemic attacks (TIA) in men, for prevention of graft occlusion following coronary artery bypass surgery and deep vein thrombosis.
One tablet daily.
Aspirin is contraindicated if you have any of the following conditions:
Aspirin-100 should is contraindicated in patients who have previously exhibited hypersensitivity to aspirin and/or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents.
Aspirin-100 should is contraindicated to patients with a recent history of gastrointestinal bleeding or in patients with bleeding disorders (hemophilia).
